Alaska Airlines grounded all flights nationwide on Sunday evening due to an IT outage.

• The Seattle-based airline didn’t provide additional details about the outage in a statement on X.
• The outage began around 8 p.m. PT, according to a statement given to Reuters. Horizon Air flights were also grounded.
• Hawaiian Airlines, recently acquired by Alaska Airlines, suffered a “cybersecurity event” that affected IT systems late last month.
