Siteimprove, a platform that helps companies improve website functionality, agreed to acquire MarketMuse, a Boston-based content planning and optimization software startup.
- Terms of the deal were not disclosed. MarketMuse, founded in 2013, has 13 employees that will join Siteimprove, which employs more than 500 people.
- Siteimprove said the deal will help customers fuse content production with effective SEO strategy.
- Founded in 2003, Siteimprove is based in Denmark and has an office in Bellevue, Wash., where a majority of its executive leadership team is based, including CEO Shane Paladin, CPTO Arjang Parsa and CHRO Britt Provost. Siteimprove has more than 7,500 clients.
