Put your thinking caps on. We’re looking for nominees for GeekWire’s “Uncommon Thinkers Awards,” an initiative recognizing bold innovators in the Pacific Northwest.

Now in its second year, and in partnership with Greater Seattle Partners, the program aims to honor inventors, scientists, technologists and entrepreneurs who are transforming industries and driving positive change throughout the world.

Community nominations will be accepted through Oct. 11, after which a panel of judges will select honorees. They’ll be celebrated on stage during a VIP reception at the annual GeekWire Gala in Seattle on Dec. 12.

Last year’s honorees included: Xiao Wang, co-founder & CEO at Boundless; Poppy MacDonald, president of USAFacts; Elizabeth Hansen, assistant professor at Seattle Children’s Hospital; Blake Resnick, founder & CEO at BRINC Drones; Shwetak Patel, professor at University of Washington; and Riona Armesmith, CTO at MagniX.

Do you know an Uncommon Thinker who should be nominated? Fill out the survey below or at this link.
