Bellevue, Wash.-based startup Center laid off eight workers, or about 4% of its workforce.

  • Center CEO Naveen Singh confirmed the cuts to GeekWire, calling it a “reorganization.”
  • “This decision was made in order to align the team with our business priorities,” Singh said in a statement. “We thank every departing employee for their contributions to the company and will always be grateful to those impacted by this decision for their tremendous efforts in helping Center modernize travel and expense management.”
  • Center employs 164 people. The company, which sells a corporate credit card and expense management software, has more than 1,500 customers. It raised $30 million in December.
